ADMINISTRATION OF THE COALITION FOR GREENER AIRCRAFT
OIDS has the mandate to administer the non-for-profit organization that manages the catalyst project of the Greener Aircraft, SA²GE.
SA²GE is a public-private partnership project that aims to maintain Quebec's competitiveness in a fast-evolving global aviation market, through research and development activities and in response to new environmental regulations in the fight against climate change. This project involves many parties such as governments, companies of all size, research centers and universities.
OIDS’ main role is to coordinate communications and deliverables to ensure the success of the project.
Overview of OIDS activities in this mandate:
Contract management: coordination of contracts and amendments, accountability, collection and compilation of project performance indicators;
Financial management: management of business accounts, cash flow management, pro forma budgeting, coordination of production and auditing of financial statements, processing of grants;
Administrative Services: meeting planning and reporting, search for insurance coverage and quotes;
Communications Support: coordinating members actions and event planning.
ADMINISTRATION OF THE CATALYST PROJECT VLIÉ
The project “Développement mobilisateur de véhicules lourds innovants 100% électriques” aims at the collaborative development of four innovative 100% electric vehicles. The initiative builds on the province's natural hydroelectric resources and combines the expertise of Quebec companies in the field of transportation electrification.
IODS' main role in this mandate is identical to that exercised for SA²GE, which is to administer the non-profit organization set up to ensure good governance. The non-profit organization is governed by a board of directors, which gathers industry partners and other members, including Hydro-Québec, the Innovative Vehicle Institute (IVI) and InnovéÉ.
OIDS takes care of coordinating communications and deliverables to ensure the success of the project. This translates into contractual, financial, administrative and communication management.
For a better understanding of the nature of the activities carried out by OIDS, see the presentation of the mandate "ADMINISTRATION OF THE COALITION FOR GREENER AIRCRAFT".
